József Molnár

  • Born in 1922 in Nagyréde (Hungary).

  • Studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Budapest, where he was the student of Aurél Bernath.

  • In 1949 he won the 1st  prize at the World Youth Festival in Budapest.

  • In 1975 he won a scholarship to Italy and had an exhibition at the Hungarian Academy in Rome.

  • He has had numerous individual exhibitions in Budapest and other Hungarian cities. He has also participated in several group-exhibitions.

  • Some of his works are on display in the National Gallery in Budapest, in museums around the country and also in public institutions.
